Info. from Lands' End Re: Back Ordered Items
Lands' End is still experiencing many delivery delays, port congestion, country/vendor shutdowns due to COVID, and equipment/worker shortages. This is a global issue, but as a company, Lands' End is doing all that they can and working around the clock to improve timing where they can. This includes chartering their own cargo planes, renting trucks, prioritizing containers and also marking shipments high priority when they arrive at the warehouse, focusing first on shipments with backorders.
Parents are encouraged to purchase any winter uniform needs now, so that they are not further impacted by these delays. All orders in the queue get fulfilled as products become available.

PERKS – Parents Engaged in Regular acts of Kindness toward our Staff
The PERKS program has been a blessing to Oaks teachers and aide(s) for many years. This parent run program is currently looking for 2 PERKS parents per grade to lead the program for their child's class. These parents would organize a class gift for the teacher and aide(s) at least 2x during the school year (Christmas & end of year) and possibly find a few other ways to encourage the staff throughout the year. It is a simple, yet beautiful, way to bless the hardworking teachers. Any parents who would like more information please contact the Grammar School PERKS Coordinator, Sophie Donoghue (contact info. available on the family directory). Sign up sheets will also be available on Oct. 5 at the Grammar School Back to School Night.
Recess Monitors Needed
The Grammar School is still looking for a few more recess monitors. If you would like to volunteer for this high-impact, joyful activity, please sign up in the school office.
Tardy Policy Reminder

On Wednesdays, when visiting The Oaks' Coffee Bar, The Gathering Place, please remember that treats and drinks must be finished in a timely manner so that students can be prompt for class, in their seats and ready for the day at 8:30am.
