2026-27 Drop-off & Pick-up Instructions

PARKING LOT FLOW: In an effort to keep the parking lot a safe place for students during morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up, families are asked to please adhere to the following guidelines and communicate this information to those who will be picking up or dropping off Oaks students.
The parking lot located off of 24th avenue, west of The Oaks main building is designated for student drop-off and pick-up.

- Drive up to the MP/Gym building and pull to the side if dropping off (leaving space for others to go around).
- Drive out through the center lane, exiting on the east side.

- Exit on the east side.
- Remind your children to walk along the edges and not to play in the parking lot.
- Please reference the Parking Lot Flow picture for further details.
Student drivers should park in the lot located off of 22nd avenue, north of the multipurpose building.

PERKS Program
Parents Engaging in Random Acts of Service and Kindness for our Staff
Since 1997, just one year after The Oaks was founded, the PERKS program has been a way for parents to come together and tangibly bless our teachers, faculty, and support staff. This parent-led program shows appreciation throughout the year with prayers, notes, treats, and gifts that remind our staff how valued they are.
Each year, 1 or 2 parents per grammar class (Jr K–6th) sign up to coordinate the PERKS for their child's teacher, which may include traditions such as coordinating Christmas and end-of-year gifts, as well as new ways that would bless the teacher. If this is something you'd like to participate in please use the PERKS Grammar Sign-up(opens in new tab)(opens in new tab) or contact Sophie Donoghue, Oaks parent & Grammar School PERKS coordinator.
PERKS is a simple but meaningful way to serve, get to know other families, and bring smiles to those who pour into your children daily. Thank you for being a part of this wonderful program!

Mock Trial Interest Meeting (9–12th students & parents)
Wed., Sept. 23 [7:45–8:10am] (Conference Room)
Do you like to act? Do you like to argue–respectfully, of course? Then Mock Trial might be for you. Whether you want to step into the courtroom as an attorney or take the stand as a witness, it's fun, it's hard work, and it's one of the best ways to sharpen your mind while competing as a team. Attorney, Oaks Parent, and Mock Trial Coach, Mr. Anthony Beattie, will be holding an informational meeting before school in the upstairs Conference Room on Wednesday, September 23 for any students in 9–12th grade who have even a little bit of interest. Come see what it's all about–you don't have to choose between Mock Trial and other activities. If you play volleyball or plan to be in the play, you can still do Mock Trial. The team would love to have you!
