Fall Parent/Teacher Conferences are here. This is a great opportunity to partner with your child's teacher as you seek to raise your child in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Conferences run through Friday, October 16. The online sign-up is still available and the office will gladly assist you as needed.

Coffee Shop – Monday and Friday [7–10am]

The Oaks Coffee Shop is officially open twice a week! Parents, students, and guests are encouraged to stop in Friday and Monday mornings from 7-10am to enjoy a few unhurried moments with your children or fellow members of The Oaks community. Linger after drop-off for meaningful conversation with other parents, gather for a morning devotion or Bible study, or use the space for a little last-minute schoolwork before the day begins. Offerings include coffee, Italian sodas, and donuts. Cash, card, check, and Venmo accepted.

Bring the whole family to cheer on our Oaks soccer and volleyball teams on Friday, October 23. For $10 per person (family maximum - $50) you will receive a hamburger dinner and admission to all the games. Wear your Oaks gear and get ready to cheer! Let's fill the gym and field with Oaks fans to root on our teams. GO OAKS!!!

Family Night & Senior Night  – Fri., Oct. 30

SENIOR NIGHT: Come celebrate the seniors as we recognize them for their years on the soccer and volleyball teams, the contributions they've made, and what they have meant to the program. During the soccer game's halftime and in-between volleyball matches, we will be acknowledging Oaks seniors, Sophia Funchess, Colin Alvis, Cade Palmer, Luke Van Horn, Brian Wendt, and Evan Kaiserman on the field and in the gym. Thank you seniors!

Let's line the field and fill the gym in unity as we thank God for His faithfulness and kindness. This is sure to be a great blessing to our seniors and their families!

Absentee Reminders

When your child is home sick, please notify his teacher and the school office prior to 10am. Grammar School (through 5th grade) will gather schoolwork throughout the day and have it available in the classroom after school to be picked up by a parent or sibling. New this year for sixth grade, 6-12th grade students will receive emails from each teacher with the work missed. It's extremely helpful for students to keep up on their schoolwork as much as they are able while home sick, and the teachers are eager to help keep your child on track while missing a day or two.

Guests on Campus

When visiting or volunteering, all parents, grandparents, and guests, are asked to please sign in at the front office whenever on campus. This is a helpful way to keep The Oaks safe for all, and the office ladies love welcoming visitors. Classroom volunteers should also have an up-to-date Background Check(opens in new tab) on file (good for two years). This form can be found in the Parent Portal of your Annasis account.

Premier Parking & Priority Conference Scheduling Available
*Limited Availability

Each fall, The Oaks makes a limited number of Premier Parking & Priority Conference Scheduling Packages available to our families. For $1,000, participating families receive a reserved, numbered parking space along the fence in the main lot to use for daily drop-off and pick-up, as well as school events throughout the year. As an additional benefit, when parent-teacher conferences approach, participating families will be contacted by the office to schedule their children's conferences before the general sign-up is released.

Availability is limited, and packages are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Reserve your package by contacting Shelley Moss.

The men of The Oaks (fathers and sons alike) are invited to join Regis Cantores, the Conservatory's men's choir. Rehearsals take place every Tuesday at 6:30pm in the choir room. All experience levels welcome! No registration is required at this time.
