Uniform Highlights

As Picture Day and the Christmas Concert approach, it is helpful to take special notice of your child's formal uniform. With eight weeks of school under our belt here are a few reminders:

Dress socks for gentlemen should be solid-colored black, brown, khaki
Black tights for 6–12th grade ladies; non-athletic white anklets, knee-highs, or tights for K–5th grade ladies
Dark-soled dress shoes (not light/white soles)
Belts for gentlemen
Bows/hair ties for ladies should be in uniform colors and petite-sized

As a courtesy, Grammar School ladies may wear a button-up cardigan over their uniform jumpers in the classroom if they are cold, but cardigans should be taken off for pictures, the concert, etc.

Please reference the policy for further details regarding formal uniforms.

November Scripture Memorization

The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel:
To know wisdom and instruction,
To perceive the words of understanding,
To receive the instruction of wisdom,
Justice, judgment, and equity;
To give prudence to the simple,
To the young man knowledge and discretion–
A wise man will hear and increase learning,
And a man of understanding will attain wise counsel,
To understand a proverb and an enigma,
The words of the wise and their riddles.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge,
But fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Proverbs 1:1–7
