*Any Oaks student who has the Library Guidelines Disclaimer signed may now check out books.

Any Oaks students who have the Library Guidelines Disclaimer signed may now check out books on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3–4pm thanks to volunteer librarian, Mrs. Rachel Griffin. Students in 8th grade and below must be accompanied by a parent to check out a book during these times. What a blessing to be able to officially open this space and use it as designed. Thank you to all who have worked diligently and volunteered to make it possible.
Library Dates – Spring 2026
Study Hours | 7:30am–5:00pm
Book Check-out Hours | Mondays & Wednesdays | 3–4pm
Memorial Day | Library Closed | May 25
Free Books Available
As the librarians cull through books for The Oaks' library shelves, there are some books that do not meet the library standards for one reason or another. These books are placed on the bookshelves in the small hallway leading to the admin offices, off of the east wing, across from the main floor restrooms. Please feel free to take what you'd like to add to your home library.
Tissues Needed
How many sneezes and coughs and ker-chews?
How many nose wipes?
And tear drops?
A few.
How many damp wads
Get thrown in the basket?
The trash can, the waste pile?
The used-tissue casket?
How many wipes on your poor, drippy snout?
How many pulls till the box just runs out?
Who says it matters?
You run out, and then...
You go to the store for a new box again.
"Tissue Box" by Denise Rodgers
Between winter colds and spring allergies, the school tissue supply has dwindled remarkably. If you are able to provide a box or two to help replenish these supplies for the remainder of the year, staff and students alike would be grateful. Please drop off any donations to the school office at your convenience. Thank you!
