Coffee with the Headmaster - Fri., Mar. 6
All Oaks parents are invited to join Headmaster, Mr. Charlie Dowers, for coffee in the Memory Period Room (CE#3) after drop-off on Friday, March 6th. Starting about 7:45am there will be coffee, tea and baked goods available. About 8am Mr. Dowers will share for 10-15 minutes and then will have a time for questions. Hope you can join us!
Letter from the Headmaster
Please see the attached letter from Mr. Charlie Dowers that was emailed home Wednesday, March 4th. The purpose of this letter is to give families an overview of The Oaks' preparations and plan in reference to Coronavirus, to share with families what you can be doing in your own families, and all in the context of our faith in the Lord.
Lost & Found - Wed., Mar. 11
Lost and found items will be on the table in the MP foyer on Wednesday. Please stop by and see if anything belongs to your family. All unclaimed items, except uniforms, will be donated at the end of the day.
Mid-Terms - Wed., Mar. 11
Mid-term reports will be sent home with your child on Wednesday, March 11th. Please sign and return one copy to your child's homeroom teacher.
Talent Show - Fri., Mar. 13 at 6:30pm
Please plan to attend this year's Oaks Talent Show on Friday, March 13th at 6:30pm in the sanctuary of Valley Fourth Memorial Church. This is one of the most entertaining events of the school year and we would love to have you join us. Feel free to invite friends and family or RSVP via the Facebook event.
The Oaks Online Auction - Mar. 16-27
The Oaks took a break from having a large auction this year, but there are a few traditional items that we are auctioning off via email over the next two weeks. Check out the auction page for all the details and available items. Bidding opens Monday, March 16th, but don't delay because all bidding will close on Friday, March 27th.
Open House - Tues., Mar. 24 - 9-11am
Enrollment is now open to new families for kindergarten through 12th grade and our last open house of the season is just around the corner. Please help us spread the word about The Oaks by inviting interested family and friends to the open house on Tuesday, March 24th from 9 - 11 am. This is a wonderful opportunity to share the joy of classical Christian education with those who are unfamiliar with our school. Postcards are available in the school office or feel free to share our Facebook event. RSVPs are appreciated, but not necessary.
Parent/Teacher Conferences - Mar. 18-19
Parent/Teacher Conferences are scheduled for Wednesday, March 18th and Thursday, March 19th. Sign-ups are available in the school office during regular office hours. Please stop by to sign up.
Early Release - Wed., Mar. 18
Students will be released from class at 11:30 am on Wednesday, March 18th for parent/teacher conferences in the afternoon. There is no school on Thursday, March 19th or Friday, March 20th due to parent/teacher conferences and a staff curriculum day.

This year's History Emphasis Days (Age of Chivalry) are scheduled for April 7th - 9th. Miss Brittany Hartke is leading the charge and planning is underway. Many hands are needed to help make this a successful event so please contact Miss Hartke to see how you can get involved.
