Parent Education Corner
"Of course, the main fact about education is that there is no such thing. It does not exist, as theology or soldiering exist. Theology is a word like geology, soldering is a word like soldering; these sciences may be healthy or no as hobbies; but they deal with stone and kettles, with definite things. But education is not a word like geology or kettles. Education is a word like 'transmission' or 'inheritance'; it is not an object, but a method. It must mean the conveying of certain facts, views or qualities, to the last baby born. They might be the most trivial facts of the most preposterous views or the most offensive qualities; but if they are handed on from one generation to another they are education."
- G.K. Chesterson, from "The Truth About Education," What's Wrong With The World

Lands' End Updates
Below are recent updates from our Lands' End representative
* Ordering Updates
[Lands' End is] now in a very good inventory position, in key uniform items such as polos, pants, jumpers, skirts, etc. The small percentage of products still on backorder are mainly items such as fleece jackets, sweatshirts, and other similar products. We are expecting to be in an even better position by April, with 100% back to regular operations for back to school 2022 ordering.
Our lead times are now very, very good, around one week for any orders placed today, for in-stock products. Even less time for products not requiring a logo.
Thank you so much for all of your patience and support of our partnership this past 1-2 years of Covid related challenges for all. We are in such a good position today, and will continue to get even better.
* Sizing Updates
[Lands' End is] simplifying [their] Girls' and Boys' sizing to make it easier to shop and find similar sizing as other retailers. [They] will be removing Little and Big size designations. All product names will be designated Boys', Girls' or Kids'. [They are also simplifying the sizing to range from 2-20 for numeric sizing and XXS-XXL for alpha sizing.
For more information about these updates please check out Lands' End's FAQ page.

March Scripture Memorization
Now this is the commandment, and these are the statutes and judgements which the Lord your God has commanded to teach you, that you may observe them in the land which you are crossing over to possess, that you may fear the Lord you God, to keep all His statutes and His commandments which I command you, you and your son and your grandson, all the days of your life, and that your days may be prolonged. Therefore hear, O Israel, and be careful to observe it, that it may be well with you, and that you may multiply greatly as the Lord God of your fathers has promised you–'a land flowing with milk and honey.'
Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one! You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.
And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.
