Coming School Year Packets - Forms Due Fri., June 3
* Treats for the first class to complete their forms!

Packets for the upcoming school year were sent home with your child(ren) and through Jupiter. Please  read through the materials carefully and respond accordingly. All forms are due by Friday, June 3. As a reward for the quick completion of forms this year, the office ladies are offering a special treat to the first class in each the Grammar and Logic & Rhetoric School who have all of their forms completed. So, don't delay!
*Please note: When filling out forms in Jupiter for the upcoming school year you will need to be in the 2022-23 school year.

2021-22 Yearbook Orders - Due Fri., June 3

It's time to order the 2021-22 Yearbook! The Yearbook Order form is now available through Jupiter. Once your order is placed, payment may be made in the school office or through Jupiter. Orders are due by Friday, June 3.

Junior Thesis Presentations - May 31–June 3

The juniors are presenting their theses through June 3. All are welcome to attend these presentations in the sanctuary. Please see the attached schedule for a complete listing of times and topics.

Regular Uniforms Mon., June 6

Because students will be wearing formal uniforms on Friday, June 10 for the Awards Program, students need not wear their formal uniforms on Monday, June 6. 

Spring Conservatory Student Recital – Tues., June 7 [3:30pm]

All are invited to watch select students of The Oaks Conservatory as they share music and dance at this year's Spring Recital on Tuesday, June 7 beginning at 3:30pm in the gym.

Senior Assembly – Thurs., June 9 [9:50am]

All are welcome to attend The Oaks' Senior Assembly on Thursday, June 9 at 9:50am in the gymnasium as the Class of 2022 encourages the student body at this annual event. A livestream will be available on The Oaks' Facebook page for those unable to attend in person.

Awards Program – Fri., June 10
*Formal Uniforms

The Oaks' annual awards program will be held in the gymnasium on Friday, June 10. Grammar school awards will begin at 8:35am, followed by an all school year-end assembly at 9:15am, and concluding with the secondary school awards beginning at 10:15am. Students will wear their formal uniforms for this day. Parents are always encouraged and welcomed to attend. 

Class of 2022 Commencement Ceremony
*Sat., June 11 at 1pm – The Oaks Gymnasium

All are invited to attend The Oaks' Class of 2022 Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, June 11 at 1pm in The Oaks Gymnasium. Doors open at 12:30pm. A livestream will be available on The Oaks' Facebook page for those unable to attend in person.

End of Year Coffee Bar - Fri., June 17

The Oaks' Coffee Bar will be open at their regular time & place on Wednesday, June 8, but will be closed during finals week on Wednesday, June 15. And then on the last day of school, Friday, June 17, be sure to stop by for the last coffee bar of the 2021-22 school year. There will be tables set up outside for you to stay & visit and free donuts for the first 30 customers. You won't want to miss it!

The Oaks Groundbreaking Moment – Fri., June 17 [11am]

Come celebrate The Oaks' Groundbreaking Moment as we give thanks to God for the provisions he's provided in allowing us to begin construction. The ceremony will be held on the last day of school, Friday June 17 beginning at 11am and will be followed by Cantabile and an all school BBQ on the field. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and come enjoy the festivities and a complimentary meal.

Used Uniform Sale – Fri., June 17 [12–1:30pm]

The annual used uniform sale will be held in The Oaks' gym on Friday, June 17 from 12–1:30pm.

  • Volunteers are needed. If you would like to volunteer please contact Emily Maiani.
  • If you would like to buy or sell items in this sale please reference the following guidelines:
    • Suggested selling price for good-conditioned uniform items is half price (Items may be donated)
    • All items must be the brands listed on the uniform lists (discontinued items may not be sold, but if in good condition may be donated for future auction items–wall hangings, quilts, etc.)
    • Seller should put items in a plastic zip-lock bag along with an informational index card (seller's name, clothing type & size, and item price)
    • Seller is responsible for placing bagged items into the appropriate box prior to the sale (volunteers will be available to help)
    • Donated items may be put into the appropriate bin in the "Free" section (no bag or informational card necessary)
    • Buyers are responsible for ensuring that the item being purchased is a uniform item for the upcoming year (current lists will be posted)
    • Buyer removes uniform item and places payment in the bag with the informational card, leaving in appropriate box
    • Seller collects proceeds and any unsold items at the end of the sale (any items that are left will be donated to the used uniform closet)

End-of-Year Activities Help Needed!

Calling "All hands on deck!" as we finish out the school year with a bang! Please use the Spring Events Help SignUpGenius to sign up to help with the various upcoming events in our school community over the coming weeks! Much help is need and what a gift it is to work alongside one another to bring blessings to others! If you have questions, please contact The Oaks' Activities Coordinator, Beth Schultz.

2022 Music On The Field - Thurs., July 7 [6pm]

The Oaks is excited to welcome you and your family to join us for an evening of fellowship and music this summer at The Oaks' 2nd Annual Music on the Field. Bring a picnic dinner, drinks, lawn chairs, and blankets and come enjoy the beautiful weather, music, dancing and friends. We look forward to seeing you there!

Logic & Rhetoric Schools

Senior Final Exams Schedule – Tues.–Thurs., June 7–9

Seniors will be taking their final exams Tuesday– Thursday, June 7–9. During these tests seniors may arrive to campus on time for their test and leave campus once all tests for the day are completed. Seniors will need to sign out in the school office when leaving early. While on campus, during the school day, all seniors are expected to be in uniform. Please note, that all seniors will have a regular school day on Monday, June 6.

With the Senior Assembly and Awards Program on Thursday and Friday, June 9 and 10 the Logic & Rhetoric Schools will be following a modified AM activity schedule.

High School Choir & Orchestra at Graduation - Sat., June 11

The 9–12th grade choir & orchestra will be performing several pieces at this year's graduation ceremony on Saturday, June 11. All 9–11th grade students should arrive at 12:30pm in their formal uniform for this event. 

Rhetoric School Semester Tests – Students Leaving Campus Protocols
Tues.–Thurs., June 14–16
*Permission Notes Due by Mon., June 13

During semester tests, Tuesday–Thursday, June 14–16, rhetoric students (10–11th grades) may arrive to campus on time for their test and leave campus once all tests for the day are completed. Any students planning to leave campus early must turn a parent permission note into the school office no later than 3:30pm Monday, June 13. A permission note is available under Forms in Jupiter for your use. Students will need to sign out in the school office when leaving early. Students will not be allowed to make phone calls to receive permission the day of, so please plan ahead. While on campus, during the school day, all students are expected to be in uniform. Please note, that all students will have a regular school day on Monday, June 13.

The Oaks' 2022 Spring Ball was lovely evening, enjoyed by all, and we are so thankful to have some beautiful photographs of the event. These photos are now available to Oaks parents via Jupiter. To view them, log into your Jupiter parent portal, select Materials, and then School Office. A Spring Ball Photos link is available under 2021-22 School Photos. Feel free to download and print any pictures you would like.
