Re-enrollment Changes for '21-22 School Year
Re-enrollment for the 2021-22 school year will be changing. Please see the attached letter and frequently asked questions for details. This information was emailed home separately and hard copies were sent home with students.

Conservatory Winter Voice Recital - Fri., Jan. 15
The Conservatory Winter Voice Recital will be held Friday, January 15 from 6:30-8:30pm in the sanctuary. Immediate family and grandparents are welcome to attend.
Open House - Mon., Jan. 18 - 9-11am - RSVP only
The first open house of the season is scheduled for Monday, January 18 from 9 to 11am. Please invite interested family and friends to attend. RSVP to Admissions Officer, Anya Schnell, at 509-536-5955 or anya.schnell@theoakscca.org. Private tours are also available.
Lost & Found - Wed., Jan. 20
Lost & found items will be set out in the MP foyer on Wednesday. Please stop by to see if anything belongs to your family. All unclaimed items, except uniforms will be donated at the end of the day. Thank you to all who come by the office to find missing belongings prior to them being placed out. We appreciate your help in keeping our lost & found pile low.
Instrumental Concert - Thurs., Jan. 21 - 7pm
Orchestra students (5th-12th grades) will be presenting a Post-Christmas Instrumental Concert on Thursday, January 21 at 7pm in the gym. Family and friends are welcome to attend.
Spring Musical Auditions - Jan. 26-28
Oaks students (2nd-12th grades) are welcome to try out for this year's spring musical, which is scheduled for May 6-8 and May 14-15. Auditions will be held at the school Tues. through Thurs., Jan. 26-28. Please see the flyer below for further details.
Kindergarten Priority Registration Due Jan. 29
Kindergarten registration for the 2021-22 school year is now open for current school families. Families with an upcoming kindergartner may turn in a completed Current Family New Student Application by Friday, January 29 for priority registration. Kindergarten enrollment for new families will open February 1.

Logic & Rhetoric Schools
Poetry Out Loud Competition - Fri., Jan. 15 at 12:05pm
On Friday, January 15 from 12:05-12:25 pm the top poem performers from the 9th-12th grades will compete in the sanctuary for the chance to represent The Oaks at the Poetry Out Loud Regional Competition. All 9th-12th grade students will be in attendance and families of the competitors are invited to join them. We ask that everyone in attendance honor our school's protocols by wearing a mask and/or social distancing. The performances will also be recorded and made available on The Oaks Facebook page.
Financial Aid Webinar - "Next Steps After You've Filed Your FAFSA"
Mon., Jan. 25 - 5:30-6:30pm
Parents of seniors: Now that you've filed your FAFSA, learn about next steps during this helpful webinar hosted by Whitworth University. Information will include a review of some common FAFSA errors, special circumstance situations, and other financial aid and scholarship resources available. You do not need to be applying to Whitworth to participate.

SAT School Day - Wed., Mar. 3
Beginning this year, The Oaks will offer annually the official CollegeBoard SAT test, held midweek at our school for all juniors, and for seniors who still need to take the SAT test as a graduation requirement. See the flyer below for details and to register. Deadline to register is Fri., Feb. 12.
