THE OAKS ATHLETICS

The Oaks equips students to run the race set before them.

Sport are an important part of our community where we practice nobility, courage, joy, and self-discipline. Students who participate in sports quickly discover that sports reveal character more than they built it. The values learned on the playing field—endurance, perseverance, risk taking, team work, and dealing with stress—prepare us for life.

"My coaches really helped me expand the virtues of sports, like courage and perseverance, beyond the sports arena. I was always held accountable for how I was showing those virtues in the classroom, with my siblings, and with my parents."

—Tucker Christiansen, Oaks Alumnus

The Oaks offers a variety of competitive athletic programs for students designed to help build Christian character, instill moral integrity, and to provide a path toward physical fitness. All sports being offered are viewed as extra-curricular activities with families encouraged to assist their children in keeping a healthy balance with their school work.

Secondary high school sports teams participate in the Mountain Christian League.
