Coffee with the Head of School - Fri., Apr. 23

All Oaks parents are invited to join Head of School, Mr. Charlie Dowers, for coffee in the gym after drop-off on Friday, April 23rd. Starting about 8:15am there will be coffee, tea, and baked goods available. About 8:30am Mr. Dowers will share for 10-15 minutes and then will have a time for questions. Hope you can join us! For planning purposes, an RSVP to the office would be appreciated.

Mommy & Me Ballet - Apr. 29-June 3

The Oaks Conservatory is excited to offer another session of "Mommy & Me Ballet" with Mrs. Kara Koerper. The class will be held on Thursdays from 8:30-9:15am in the Fellowship Hall beginning April 29 and ending June 3. The cost is $80 and is open to children ages 3 to 5 years old. The Oaks Online Auction - Bidding Now Open!

Bidding is now open for this year's online auction. Check out all the great items available today and send in your bids. Bidding will close on Friday, April 30th.

The Oaks Coffee Bar - Wednesday Mornings - 7:30-8:25am

On Wednesday mornings, Oaks seniors are serving up coffee, Italian sodas, and breakfast treats in the foyer of the MP (gym) building. All students, parents, staff, and guests are welcome to stop by to partake in this Wonderful Wednesday morning delight. Please stop by to support the seniors and thank them for making this happen.

Lost & Found - Wed., Apr. 28

Lost & found items will be set out in the MP foyer on Wednesday. Please stop by to see if anything belongs to your family. All unclaimed items, except uniforms will be donated at the end of the day. Thank you to all who come by the office to find missing belongings prior to them being placed out. We appreciate your help in keeping our lost & found pile low.

The Music Man - May 7-8 & 14-15 - Buy your Tickets Today!

Tickets for The Oaks production of The Music Man are now on sale for $14 each, or a family pass for $40 (immediate family members only). Tickets may be purchased through the website or the school office.

Conservatory Summer Program - Registration Now Open

The Oaks Conservatory is excited to offer a summer program this year! Offerings begin in June and include, private & group lessons, Musikgarten, Music Camp, art classes, and Music on the Field. See the flyer for more details or visit the Conservatory Website. Registration is now open through your Jupiter account or by calling the school office.

Grammar School

Spring Concert - Tues., May 25, 6:30pm

The Grammar School and Orchestra spring concert will be held on Tuesday, May 25 at 6:30pm in the sanctuary. They are excited to share with all in attendance what they have been working on this year.

Logic & Rhetoric Schools

Spring Concert - Fri., Apr. 23, 7pm

The Logic & Rhetoric School and The Oaks Orchestra will be performing their spring concert on Friday, April 23 at 7pm in the sanctuary. All are welcome to attend. Students should plan to arrive in their formal uniforms between 6:15 and 6:30pm.

Spokane Scholars

Congratulations to Oaks Senior Abby Kwon who was named Second Prize recipient of the Spokane Scholars Foundation Award for World Languages. Abby will receive a cash award of $3,000. The announcement was made the evening of Monday, April 19 during a virtual Spokane Scholars televised event which honored The Oaks' six Scholars in these categories: Abby Kwon, World Languages; Sam McEachran, Fine Arts; Cecily Lambert, English; Abby Farley, Social Studies; Ruth Dierdorff, Science; and Anna Sattler, Mathematics.  College Counselor, Mrs. Lynn Gibson, the six Scholars, and their families celebrated the evening together with a "Watch Party" to share in the honors and excitement. May God be glorified for the wondrous blessings He bestows upon our students and school.
