On February 5th The Oaks Board hosted the Annual Family Business Meeting. Parents were reminded of The Oaks mission and goals followed by a discussion about looking ahead. Information was shared about investment opportunities, facilities needs and future plans, as well as The Oaks’ five year plan. Please take a few minutes to review the meeting minutes here.

Latin Night School - April 23rd
Parents are invited to join your Oaks Latin teachers Tuesday, April 23rd from 6:30 - 8:00 pm in room MP5 for a spring time Latin Night School. See the attached invitation for further details.
Upcoming Financial Aid Meetings - April 30th or May 2nd - Please RSVP
If you are interested in receiving financial aid for the 2019-20 school year, Mr. Dowers will be hosting two more informational meetings regarding The Oaks' tuition assistance program on Tuesday, April 30th from 7:00-7:45 pm and Thursday, May 2nd from 8:00-8:45 am. Attendance at one of the financial aid meetings is required in order to apply for financial aid in the 2019-20 school year. Please RSVP to the school office so that we can plan accordingly.
Grandparent Information
The Oaks is working on developing a Grandparents Group and we need your help! If you have not already completed the Grandparent Information Form below please take a moment to complete it and turn it into the office as soon as possible.
Civil War Re-enactment (6th-12th grades) - Friday, May 24th
This year's Civil War Re-enactment is scheduled for Friday, May 24th. Many hands are needed to pull off this once a year event. If you are willing and able to lend a hand please fill out the attached volunteer form and return it to the school office by Friday, April 12th.

Tickets for The Oaks' Spring Musical, Cinderella, are now on sale. To purchase your tickets click on the link on our homepage. Tickets will also be sold in the foyer of the MP building every Friday after school.
Promotional posters for our upcoming production are now available! Please stop by the school office and pick up a few to post in local businesses and public places. Please take only the amount you plan to post.

Enrollment for New Families is Now Open
If you know someone interested in The Oaks and classical Christian education please let them know that enrollment for the 2019-20 school year is now open. They can call the school office to set up an Initial Visit and learn more about The Oaks.
Friday Pizza Lunch Meal Option
Pizza lunch now includes a meal option which includes chips, applesauce and a granola bar for an additional $2. Five meal punch cards are available for $10. Pizza prices will remain the same at $1.25 per slice.

All secondary students (7th-12th grades) and parents are invited to attend The Secondary Spring Ball on Friday, April 26th at 7pm. The cost is $10 per person at the door. Please bring a savory or sweet appetizer to share. See the attached flyer for further details.
Grove City College's "Junior Crimson Day"
Juniors may use a $300 voucher toward airfare and lodging to visit Grove City College during its "Junior Crimson Day," Saturday April 27. Students from The Oaks (and other Classical Schools from around the country) will enjoy a day of activities, faculty presentations, campus tours, and student panels to introduce them to this outstanding Christian college in Grove City, PA. Juniors received a voucher from Mrs. Gibson last month; more are available in her office. To register, click here.
