The Oaks equips students to run the race set before them.
Why Sports?
Sports give students, coaches, and fans the opportunity to practice nobility, courage, joy, and self-discipline. Students who participate in sports quickly discover that sports reveal character more than they build it. The values learned on the playing field—endurance, perseverance, risk taking, team work, and dealing with stress—prepare us for life.
The Oaks offers a variety of competitive athletic programs for students designed to help build Christian character, instill moral integrity, and to provide a path toward physical fitness. All sports at The Oaks are viewed as extra-curricular activities with families encouraged to assist their children in keeping a healthy balance with their school work.
Secondary high school sports teams participate in the Mountain Christian League.
